We welcome one of the bestest months in the whole year, September. The month that brings us warm days and cool nights, and the first inklings of our favourite time of year: fall. And maybe a renovation completed?
We’re into week 16 in the pregnancy and things are going very well. We got back to Wallaceburg this weekend for WAMBO and to see The Mammals play at Roxxy’s. Good times had by all.
This week started happy and ended a bit sad…
Well… we’re not home yet. We’re still going to have to stay / freeload at Greg and Sherri’s for another couple of days at least. But we are very close to firing up the A/C and moving back home. Which is good cause I am sure Greg and Sherri would like their house back. Continue reading
This week things got moving so fast we almost couldn’t keep up. Big changes and breakneck advances in the work on the house. And we even squeezed in a rawk show to boot!
As you can tell by the late time in the day of this post, we’re getting really busy these days with all there is to do in order to make sure we’re ready for the cabinets in time for their install.
So… We got our deconstruction on this weekend. Hardcore.
This week introduced us to two new people. Well… the newest one we have yet to meet: Cordelia arrived in the wee hours Friday May 19th in time for the long weekend. We’re hoping to get over to see her today or tomorrow. And the other is newish since it took us six months to get our schedules in the same direction. We finally got to meet Joshua, son of one our friends, Maryellen. He’s six months old, and quite an alright little dude.
Before we get knee deep in what we’re up to, we’d both like to send out a Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers we know. Today is a special day where we get give a little back to those who sacrifice the most for us. Especially when you consider how we get here… and then add on the years of turmoil we give them from that point forward. 🙂
